How to Add App to Startup Windows 10 (Official Dell Tech Support)

In Windows 10, it’s very simple to add an
app or program to the Startup. Just follow these 3 quick steps as outlined
in this video. Be aware that adding too many can make your
PC boot up slow; especially if you are using an HDD as your system disk. The first step is to create a shortcut by
dragging and dropping the app from the Start Menu to the Desktop. Next, open the Run Command box by pressing
the Windows logo key and the R key. In the Run Command field, type “shell:startup”
and then press Enter. Once the Startup folder opens,
copy and paste the app shortcut from the Desktop to this Startup folder. When you’re done, close the window as the
app is now added to the Startup.
